The media i used today is the tv in my house. i fell sick last night and had to go to school and study. by the time i came home i could not even turn my body anywhere. but i noticed that i just sat there while everyone was really watching i was just sitting. because i was getting used to not being on it, i realized i dont really want to be on it. Being allowed to only be on for school things makes it easier to keep priorities straight. Access to different apps is easy from the phone. 

Media has been used today. I went on fb and I changed my profile picture and I do not feel guilty. I didn't think anything of it. I just had to do what I had to and it's done. It's quick and done. Media has such easy access. Anytime we want to use it , it's right there. It's everywhere. Yesterday I slept at 830 because I was tired and had nothing to do. If I was on Netflix I would have never slept. So I think this is a work in progress.

It's been 4 days since I have had a chance to check any social media. It makes me interact with the world

More and to realize that it is a waste of time to deal with media. I also realized how I do not need it on a daily basis. Being at the convention this weekend , I would live late nights and early mornings at the hotel. Tere was plenty of media around me at the convention. They wanted to record people speaking and interviewing people who came from UK. There were singers who came from UK to perform and we got to know them and understand some ways of the differences of the states communication and UK. I realized the fast pace lifestyle they lived in London and how different it must of seemed from Houston. The weather was different, the accent, and even their point of view on TVs and child development. 

There is a convention this weekend and I do not have time to skim through my phone. The media around me this weekend is all about lectures and taking pictures but really I'm stuck with talking. Usually I will look through my fb and other messages but there is no time to. Another thing I am noticing is how even in a lecture phones are used to text and record and take pictures. 

Today is phone call day. I finished my paper last night ad have a little free time. I  have been 3 wayin with 2 different cliques since the morning. I did Facebook message some people to answer some questions but went back to  my normal life. I'm not sure if phone calls are media but phone is, so it is included. I feel like I'm wasting time by just being on the phone. I can be doing a lot of different things but my friends gossip is winning right now. 

The media can be your life! If you wanted to use your phone to do everything you could. Recently I downloaded the bloggers app in order to easily use my phone to put posts and I do not know how but for 3 days it did not publish! I was baffled because I'm used to my Internet working and all of a sudden I look online and see that I am missing days. And I go on my phone to see that it did not publish . That's media for ya!
